@Lacker also dont listen to internet "Rizz" im 100% certain lily is amongst the female populous of humans who have a brain and doesnt fall for stuff like that (I dont think any girl or woman would fall for such stuff tbh), that stuff in my opinion is kind of low and too far for a first encounter and friendship. but being smooth, likely do that when she becomes your gf, like for e.g, if I had a gf and she said something like "The moon, it shines so brightly at night" id likely say something like "Well love, it may be beautiful, but if all your beauty were converted to light, not even the most intelligent of concious minds across this multiverse could comprehend a fraction of it, itd span everywhere..." yeah, so being smooth to her when she is your gf, yeah, thats fine, but if she was a friend of mine and she asked for my number and I wrote it on a map and she asked: "I asked for your number, not coordinates" and I replied with "Thats the coordinates to my heart"....yeah shed likely have a flat expression like "you cannot be serious..." and just be like "never mind"

@Lacker also, dont believe the movies! most of them often lie and portray first romantic encounters incorrectly, feelings brew, feelings start small and grow, like a plant, some nerd girl doesnt just "decide" she has a crush on the captain of the football team who has the chest of a wh40k spacemarine and a 72 pack who just sees her as "another girl" or even where the nerdy boy suddenly falls in love with the emo lady who he has known for 10 years in school and suddenly just has feelings of her yet hasnt thought much of her. and she just sees him as a tool

@Lacker it starts off small and simple, small, subtle and not too abrupt, like for example, when it came to my crush when I was 9, I just simply asked her if I could join her in a game she was playing with her friends, and she gladly let me join her, and eventually, I still remember her saying "I like you as a friend". ofcourse, my daft little self couldnt manage words of such magnitude, so that comes to another point, if she does become your gf, or a close friend, never take her for granted brother!

@Lacker aight, ive got some experiance, but heres what you do, if you wanna talk to her, approach her as if you want to be her friend, not to be her immediate bf, aye? be her friend, make that the 1st move, treat and see her as a friend initially, that will rid the awkwardness and anxiety, as well as a loss of words when she says something to you, not to mention saying random stuff when she says something, (trust me, that can happen due to a melting heart), if she melts your heart, dont resist it, just temporarily patch that up, remember your mission, be her friend now, and stay strong, the longer you stay friends, the higher the chances of her falling for you over the years brother, the higher the chances of her becoming your gf, the higher the chances of you too sharing your lives together with a legal seal of approval!
