This is a relatively simple design for an energy only drive.
How to build:
Put electic engines in the center of mass of you vehicle (shown on image image),
Add long sticks to connect the weight to these electic engines.
Make electric engines spin in different directions (no mirror invertion).
Optional: Add sticks in the other direction pointing away from the weight, so that the weight doesnt spin too much while you get it into orbit.

Now when you build it get it into nice high orbit so that applying force gives clear orbit difference (it should work in low orbit as well, but less efficiently).
When you did that, allign the weights and your ship (shown on image) and turn into the direction you want to apply force (i recommend doing that in warp mode).
After that start spinning up the weights, and you should see the speed start going up or down (slow motion recommended), and when you catch the moment when you got the max velocity go into warp.
If you did everything right you should see your orbit change a bit. Now turn your ship into opposite direction and do the same thing.
P.S: i recommend spinning at least 2 times before warping for max velocity change.
P.P.S: if weights are out of control, wait for them to allign and warp; after that you can just spin in physics mode and allign them with the ship itself.

The test ship has a small infinity drive underneath capable of around 10G aceleration (to get he thing into orbit), but i dont recommend doing above 3 G while in atmosphere.
To enable the electric engines press 1, and control them with throttle.

In the last image you can see the result i got after maybe 8 spins (around 80ms velocity change).
