Use:
Fill the red tank with fuel from blue one before start.

Stage 1 detaches the rocket, stage 2 activates the engines.

Aerodynamics are disabled, rockets are identical and engines have the same power which means that the rocket should have moved straight up (fill the red tank in build menu and it will fly straight).

That leads to the conclusion that fuel does not actually have mass at all. Its just the dead mass at the tank that you start with if you fill the tank in build menu.

So you could easily make a super efficient rocket just by filling it at launch from external tank.

It's the same as SP, because then you'd have to choose the order that tanks are drained from, and that would require constant adjusting to fly correctly.

@Omega but it would be cool if devs see this in order to fix it, you can edit parts lass anyway

@pedro16797 thats not a bug as it does not break anything. Its just a fun little fact about SR2 that can be used in some contraptions. I discovered it while i was trying to make impossible engine like in KSP where you transfer fuel while rotating the tanks.

Have you reported this as a bug?

Also i tried putting same tanks on the sides of this rocket (it was fueled in build menu), and one of the tanks was empty from the start while other was full. Then i transferred fuel from full tank into an external one and the rocket started spinning out of control just if one tank was still fully filled. That truly means that fuel is just a number with no real mass attached to it.
