So you have a base on luna..but you have a thirst for a mining station. You check the mods list..nothing..you check roadmap..nothing. I have the solution for you! Its a drill(the command chip is not necessary) that uses a negative pressure engine to generate fuel. It can take an empty fuel tank and fill it up. Be careful, as you can overfill fuel tanks. The part count is not too bad, and would be much better if you do not want to have the drill bit itself. Tell me if any should be changed and I hope this proves useful.

@CyleroEnthusiast I have found that the thrust issue can be mitigated by adjusting the thrust value in the tinker panel.

The drill concept using a negative pressure engine seems innovative. It’d be cool to integrate similar mechanics in games like Bitlife, where players face resource management challenges.

also I would recommend if ur going for a mining outpost, then add a small engine to vent excess fuel. The engine allows you to go over 100% fuel. Also make sure to attach it to a heavier craft if you switch it from pressure fed to another cycle. It generates thrust just like a normal engine, and can and will move a light craft.

@HAPPYWARRIOR Sure! Just dont repost the drill without crediting, but otherwise ur fine.

Nice design and it's a bit more immersion this way as opposed to just having the engine that was tinkerer to hell and back squirreled away in the craft somewhere.as for the over fueling, one option I have used is to have a dedicated fuel tank, small, with mass set to zero.but this has to be a part of a crafts design as these engines will fill all related tanks.but it is one way to work around that issue
