Note:
-The electric motors used for powering the gravity drive may break easily. I'd personally recommend setting the Physics Update Frequency to Medium, and Rag-doll Physics to Ultra.
-Starship Avalon still lacks directional control. To focus on a trajectory, please use the Warp Speed button.
Updates:
-Gravity Drive Motor rotational speed increased to 4.5 RPM
-Additional details (windows, lighting, logo)
-High Power Ion Drive has a dedicated engine
THE STARSHIP AVALON
The Starship Avalon is an interstellar-class spacecraft that appeared in the 2016 film 'Passengers.' This craft was used for hauling astronauts and cargo to the planet Homestead II. It carries a total of 5,258 astronauts, consisting of 5000 passengers and 258 crew.
DIMENSIONS
The Avalon stretches to approximately 1040 meters, and 460 meters in diameter.
POWERPLANT
The Avalon is propelled by an ion drive, fueled by the interstellar medium, and powered by a nuclear fusion reactor located in the main engineering section.
LIVING QUARTERS
The Avalon houses its passengers, who are suspended in a state of torpor, in the hibernation section, one of the three massive bays that spiral along the length of the ship. Moving to the Grand Concourse, which features humongous sapphire windows, it provides services to awoken astronauts. The final bay is the residential section, capable of providing home to passengers and crew, ensuring privacy and luxury to passengers. Moving to the ring situated near the front end of the ship, it also consists of hibernation bays for the crew and two bridges for the flight crew to provide command, risk management, and manual control over the starship.
