MLF-3B
A 4++ generation heavy multirole twin-engine fighter with deltawing. The external armament consists of four medium-range air-to-air missiles and one heavy long-range air-to-surface missile.
The system includes:
- MLF-3B
- AAR-1E
- AGM-199
Changes compared to the previous version:
- The canard has been redesigned and now resembles LERX
- Aerodynamic brake has been added
- External armament has been added
- Cockpit has been modified
Some performance and flight characteristics of the launch platform
Maximum flight speed: 760 m/s
Optimum flight speed: ~400 m/s
Takeoff speed: 135 m/s
Service ceiling: 25,000 m
Optimum flight altitude: 15,000 m
External Armament
AAR-1E – a medium-range air-to-air missile (AAM) mounted on four wing pylons. The missile has poor maneuverability.
AGM-199 Broadsword – a heavy, long-range air-to-surface missile capable of reaching speeds of up to 2,000 m/s. It is not recommended to launch from extremely low altitudes to avoid "Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly". The optimal launch altitude is 12 km or more. Fun fact: because the missile wobbles a bit when pitching, I jokingly call it the "Woodcock.”
Controls:
AG1 – Engine
AG2 – Cockpit
AG3 – Landing Gear
AG4 – Nose Radar Compartment
AG5 – Radar (its rotary actuator) on/off
AG6 – AGM-199 Launch
AG7 – AAR-1E Launch
AG8 – Airbrake
Slider 1 – Radar Left/Right Turn
Slider 2 – IRST Camera Zoom
To switch to the IRST camera, select IRST from the list of cameras in “camera parts” section.
