the Long March 1 is the first rocket in the Chinese 'Long March' rocket family.
This rocket is small lift, and fairing copacities are changeable.
HOW TO GET INTO ORBIT:
(PLEASE NOTE: the 3rd stage is not required to get into low-earth orbit.)
1. Activate the 4 first-stage liquid rocket engines and set the throttle to 100%. (1st stage turns: 10,000m-75' 20,000m-60' 30,000m-45' 40,000m-30')
At around 40,000m, the first stage will fully burn-out.
2. separate the 1st stage and activate the 2nd stage. (2nd stage turns: 45,000m-15' 50,000-0') Keep burning at 0 degrees until your height reaches above 60,000m; and then cut off the engines. Set your position to prograde and wait until you're near apoasis. Once near apoasis, fire up the engines full-throttle again, and burn until you have reached low-earth orbit.
OPTIONAL: fire up the 3rd and final solid rocket stage, and blast yourself into solar orbit!
