This is the RAD-70 “Doppelschwinge” by Reichenbach AeroDynamics.
This aircraft was developed as a super-large transport to support accelerating space development.
It can fly while carrying a payload equal to its own weight, up to 1.4kt.
This aircraft is characterized by its tandem wing configuration and unconventional fuselage design. The forward and rear main wings can move forward or backward. The fuselage, which bulges significantly overall and tapers sharply toward the rear, was designed to accommodate a massive cargo bay forward and allow for external hardpoints aft.
This aircraft enabled RAD to launch massive aerospace vehicles from any location with a runway.
This variable wing system was created to compensate for significant shifts in the center of gravity caused by cargo. It is operated via Slider 1.
All ActivationGroups are self-explanatory. Also, when loading cargo into the forward cargo bay, please lower the landing gear. It is designed that way.
Slider 1 controls variable wing operation,
Slider 2 controls air brake operation (1 is fully deployed).
This is the first large aircraft I've created for this game. Early development plagued me with wings spinning wildly, followed by wings separating at light speed and flying off. Ultimately, though, I found a solution. I don't consider this model a success, but for me, the fact that this craft's design didn't fail is one of its successes. (Usually, when I build something huge, the design ends up trash.)
@destoria thx :)
