This was made in 1951 by Orion AeroWorks, nearly a week before the dc-8 was revealed to the public. It was considered one of the most luxurious and spacious planes for its time (modern day planes make this look like a plastic toy compared to them)

Ok ok u said luxurious buT I have Just released the SIA-250 a mach3-3.5 Supersonic airliner built in the mid 60s. Competition has arrived if Ur plane still in use in the 60s.
@BeaconIndustries production of this variant was ended in 1986 due to the engines being outdated. It WAS in fact used in the 1960s, but didn’t compete with your plane as it wasn’t meant for speed. Mostly meant for.. luxury. It had a really good range for the time though and its longest flights were from Florida to England. But it could not go further at all
