Before y'all get excited, I'm just bringing up an idea lol. Ever played The Powder Toy or The Powder Game? Or maybe The Powder Game 2 ( https://dan-ball.jp/en/javagame/dust2/ ) or another fluid physics sim. These games let you draw stuff; gasses, fluids, walls, batteries, etc. Instead of building planes and rockets, you experiment with air pressure, temperature, explosives and gasses and even batteries, by drawing them and seeing how they interact. Now wouldn't it be wonderful if Jundroo made a fluid simulation game like that, except 3D? Now that I'd like to see, even though the 3D part might be a bit difficult. They pulled off sr2 tho, so they'd probably make and excellent fluid sim. I hope they do someday, but for now we'll have to content ourselves with discussing the idea.

    @mysterp that would be so awesome but my CPU is crying

    I think the devs should implement this into sr2, not like everywhere in the game, but imagine building a ship/plane and swipe across and the wind, in awesome colors interacts with the plane as it would in real life only you control it, wind tunnel. Different colors that come off plane tell you what's what. Blue for drag, green uplift, red down force. Imagine the possibilities, I think that would be what makes this game seen in the same level as that one that's kinda similar.

    Even a 2D one by Jundroo would be awesome lol, but yeah I can see why 3D would be a problem. We wouldn't want them to make a game that only the dudes up at NASA can play 😂

    I like the idea, though i could see some potential issues with that. The powder toy works with cellular automata as far as i know, so the individual pixels just appear/dissappear depending on certain rules and the pixels around them. This does allow for some pretty impressive looking simulations but is really gpu expensive, even at a 2dimensional and low resolution scale. I couldnt imagine how bad the framerate would be with a 3d implementation. That said, im sure there would be ways to solve this to some degree, i sadly just dont see the devs ever actually picking that idea up.

    @SilverstoneAerospace makes sense. Hopefully the system reevaluates it's educational practices

    @Daenery well there is an option for educators on this site as well, which really intrigued me😁. But most countries follow a draconian curriculum and I hope there will be experimentation with providing education from now on, especially after the pandemic.

    @SilverstoneAerospace well...yes😂 I never thought of that

    Nice idea, it would serve as an excellent educating tool if correctly implemented. I personally feel that sr2 has tremendous potential to get schoolgoers hooked onto physics and coding. I really hope I see that one day.
