There's a bug that causes wings with semi-symmetric and flat bottom airfoils to produce lift in the wrong direction, causing crafts to roll automatically. I distinctly remember this bug making it to research and development, but now it's gone and I don't remember it ever being in the completed items. The bug still exists in the game. Is it supposed to be gone from the roadmap? Just curious.

@PhilipTarpley Thank you. That is above and beyond fixing the bug.

@Zaccurus @NathanMikeska There are new capabilities in the designer/flight scene which should address these issues in the upcoming (not yet released) version. New gizmos were added to allow visualizing the airfoil direction so you no-longer have to guess based on the craft's performance, and it has the ability to invert them.

A new concept of "pilot orientation" was also introduced which is tied to each command pod, but is independent of the command pod's orientation, and the ability to change it. The pilot's orientation is used to determine the "Forward/Up/Right" vectors and is used in part to set airfoil direction and auto control surface/RCS/gyro assignment.

    Lets ask @PhilipTarpley

Maybe it was just too small to notice. The aileroms are relatively small, with big stabs.

@swope Weird. I experience the auto-roll in the latest version, 0.6.9.2. I tried verifying my game files, using both mirrored and non-mirrored wings, locking the nav sphere, but there's always the auto-roll.

I made an F-16ish plane in 0.6.9.x and it was fine in roll with the navsphere engaged. Semi-symmetric airfoils on the wings. Symmetric on the stabs.
