When i start up Simplerockets 2 on steam, the UnityCrashHandler comes up with a loading bar beneath the SR2 icon and my whole game crashes and will not run. I am not sure what causes it and i dont know if i can view the crash logs. Would somebody come up with a solution? My game was working entirely fine before but recently this started to happen.

This happened in the latest version: 0.9.404.0

EDIT: THE ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED FOR NOW

@NathanMikeska Well i have tried to launch the game from the files system instead of Steam before, and it still crashes before i fixed it. I reckon your are right, I'd say that it could be a bug on Unity or on my drivers, or else maybe a version of Unity doesn't support later drivers, I'm not entirely sure.

But at the end of the day, at least i have the crash logs and if you would like me to send the logs to Unity or anywhere else then please tell me, if you find patch notes then please tell me.

Thanks for helping me troubleshoot this problem.

@SpaceAeronauticsTestingAgencySATA Well I'm glad you got it working. I have no idea what is going on though. It sounds like its a bug in either Unity or your graphics drivers. I'll try to keep a look out for any possible fixes in Unity patch notes.

If it happens again, maybe try starting the game directly from the file system rather than launching through Steam. I wonder if the Steam overlay could be interfering.

@NathanMikeska I have found the problem and fixed it! well pretty much have

You see the problem, was a file called igd10iumd64.dll and it caused an access violation issue. It is found in my graphics driver folders. So then i tried running the game in multiple different graphics driver's that is already stored on my PC, and i have found out that my oldest graphics driver that is stored on my PC version: 25.20.100.6793 released on 9/4/2019, actually works and the game now runs without crashing.

I don't know what that file has to do with all of this?
Is there a way to fix this?
Is the Unity game engine version not compatible with my latest GPU driver?

@NathanMikeska I have checked my system updates and windows 10 is up to date, but i don't have Citrix installed. Is that like a application or something?

I reckon it might be an access violation issue.

@SATA Have you tried running Windows update to make sure your system is up to date? Do you have any Citrix software installed?

@NathanMikeska I have found a error log in %Userprofile%>appdata>local>temp>jundroo>simplerockets2>crashes>Crash2020-07-07091130689 and i think that i had discovered the problemigd10iumd64.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module igd10iumd64.dll at 0033:d022d39c. would you agree or is it something else?

@NathanMikeska I have updated my graphics drivers to their latest version, and SR2 still crashes. I don't know how but it still doesn't work for me, i have got the new log file here if you would like to have a look at it, and help me diagnose this problem. I am starting to get a bit annoyed at this.

@NathanMikeska Ok I'll see if I can update my driver's and try running it again. So I just type in my graphics processing unit on Intel and find the latest driver.

I had a thought though that it could be windows 10 that is causing this problem.

@SATA It looks like your graphics drivers are out of date. I'd try updating them and giving it another shot. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/80939/Graphics

Could we get a link to your log file? Should be here: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimpleRockets 2\player.log
