A Mechanism-Building Request

I want to recreate International Docking System Standard and equip it on my craft, but currently I'm working on the other projects so I have no time. If somebody help me, it would be really grateful.

  • Functionality over Aesthetics; it should work properly
  
  
  • should be able to soft-capture and then hard-capture
  
  
  • should be able to compensate a moderate misalignment
  
  
  • preferably 200% size than stock, to match real-life docking ports
