Has anyone had this problem. Sometimes, when I click on the SR-2 icon on my desktop, I can't connect with Steam to run SR-2. This applies to all Steam games I have and well as connecting to Steam itself. When this happens, I can access SR-2 by going through "programs, Steam, Steamapps, etc. This problem usually happens, but not always, if I've been on the internet before I try to play SR-2. I've found that restarting my PC will usually allow me to connect with SR-2 normally.
Maybe steam cloud is syncing and its taking a while? You can try disabling steam cloud for the game and see if that helps.
