Astronauts with Parachutes

I have been looking at the xml code for astronauts. My goal is to attach a parachute to an astronaut somehow. Obviously, parachutes have an orange attachment point and astronauts have a blue one.
Does anyone have any advice?
I’ve tried shrinking an EVA chair and putting it on the astronaut’s back, but when sitting the astronaut has no hitbox. I think xml editing would be the only option.
What do you guys think?
