I'm using RMark1's V2 Rocket with some XML modded parts for infinite fuel.
I came pretty close to the sun, then suddenly, someone turned that big bright light bulb off right when i needed it. It literally looks like a Black Hole now. I haven't made it to the surface yet, but this should get interesting, because it's getting harder and harder to slow down at this point.
The rocket isn't getting hot at all, which is odd. I'm still gonna try to land though. Has anyone else tried landing on the sun?
I tried it, it did end up looking like a black hole, and eventually I got entry heat and then it explodes and says I got to close and my craft exploded. You can’t land on the sun.
