Hi All! I thought I'd post a challenge for all of you guys that would be an astounding feat if accomplished. I'm proposing a race to build a stock, no xml, space elevator that reaches to the geostationary point around Droo. It would be extra awesome if that elevator could carry a payload up it. If this were created it would be a truly monumental accomplishment and would garner much praise and a follow from me. Good Luck may the race begin!
p.s. Don't say that things that big can't be built because I've already made one that reaches to 45 km. It can be done it just takes determination and a lot of subassemblies ;).
To get to the droostationary orbit of around 8800km in a stock fashion would take 176000 50m long fuselage pieces, so no not even in a simulator it is feasable to make a space elevator.
Except of course if you somehow posses the strongest pc in the world.
