Juno: New Origins | How Was The LES On The SimpleBeast Created?

Well the title really asks the question, how does that LES work on the SimpleBeast?

I'm working on an Apollo style mission to Luna, and have cobbled together everything I need, except for the LES to top my rocket off.

It doesn't need to be able to detach the Command Pod, just something to sit on top of the rocket and shoot off when it's jettisoned.

I have taken the SimpleBeast apart, and have to admit I still don't understand how that LES works... :(
