The rule says use hateful speech and you will be "banned immediately". This is not good imo and I will explain why:
Sometimes people misinterpret other people's intentions, leading to false or egaxerated accusations of hateful speech, i.e. when a joke was misunderstood or taken too seriously.
banning people immediately should be replaced by a warning system, like 2 warnings and your out or something similar. I hope I didn't break any rules by questioning the rules, but I read them and don't remember such a rule. If there's one, I'm complaining about it too.

having been banned for a joke that was taken wrong, i will say that the ban is immediate, but is not permanent, its a ban for a day or a week. so there really is a sort of warning first. its not just whatever the other person feels is hate speech goes

stuff like " @Tully2001 go commit no Ford Coswroth" is mean but not bannable. Hate speech that would be bannable would be like writing a whole forum, to call out someone who didn't make a rocket in green or are trying to push some political agenda or of similar quality.

So called 'hate speech' is a very silly concept in my opinion.
Simply because if I said 'Imagine a creative and edgy insult here' there are two ways to respond to it, the first way is to do what most people would and go 'crikey that's a bit mean but I don't really care' and shrug it off or you go 'OMG that's so HATEFUL I am so offended REEEEEE'. It can also be horrifically abused as if I don't like someone, I could just report everything they say as hate speech to get them banned. Or someone could provoke someone into using 'hate speech' against them and then report that person as a method of trolling. (This is sort of what TheOldColonel did to me in the early days of SP)

You cannot have such an unfathomably vast grey area in the rules of a website, especially a forum website where such things as tone of voice and facial expression are meaningless as words can be interpreted in a completely different way by different people.

Then you have people using 'hate speech' rules to silence unpopular opinions.

It is better to make the rules more specific.
Or have hate speech defined more like abusive or harrassing speech.
