Prox-1 is a nanosat developed by Georgia Institute of Technology (College). It was mainly designed to demonstrate automated trajectory control in LEO.
The satellite is equipped with thermal visible imagers provided by Arizona State University. It was also selected as the winner of the seventh University nanosat mission to launch in 2015.
Prox-1 was launched on the STP-2 mission on Falcon Heavy (Block 5)
