I currently have at least a dozen half-finished crafts, but I can't bring myself to finish them. For instance, I am unable to complete my custom engine build, which currently only has the engine body and basic plumming. I delete any progress I make because it's not what I want and doesn't look good. Sometimes I just don't see anything to do, so I stop completely. I'm stuck on a lot of builds no matter what I do.

It sounds like a either a burnout or seeking perfection that cannot be effectively achieved.

Try focusing on one project that is chosen by random and split the whole project into smaller assemblies first such as splitting a replica build first into fuselage, wings, powerplant, cockpit, etc. Your goal here should be to first create something akin to a sketch then progress into improving bit by bit.

Most importantly, rest your mind. Go up and stretch a bit, maybe a walk or chat with friends. It will clear up your mind and you can approach a problem in a different angle once you're back.

@TriVector I do that already, for most of my projects i can't though as they're original crafts or replicas of objects with little detailed documentation (at least in the form of 3D models) Also even when having models available, actually making stuff look good in game is a whole other challenge.

Try to look for a 3d model or image and then make the craft I do it in the same way
