What is a Fire Control System?
A Fire control system is a system that manages onboard weapons and ordinances for military use against targets. There are many types of Fire Control systems, usually ranging in complexity from simple activation groups activating a missile (such as this example), to being able to arm a weapon in a specified pylon (like my GEN 1 Fire Control), to having code that allows you to select a missile group (like Triton Aerospace's Type 1 Air FCM or my GEN 2), or even a fully autonomous system that decides what weapon is used and when, depending on the target and situation.
