Strategic Partnership with Pulsar Space
As part of its mission to deliver reliable, data-driven access to space, Karman Space has entered a strategic partnership with Pulsar Space to support early orbital operations ahead of RAVEN’s first launch. Through this collaboration, Karman Space will deploy a dedicated satellite mission using Pulsar Space’s launch services, enabling the collection of critical orbital, environmental, and systems-performance data prior to initiating independent launch operations.
This mission is designed to validate end-to-end mission planning, including payload integration, launch timelines, ground operations coordination, and on-orbit commissioning. The data gathered will directly inform RAVEN’s flight profiles, guidance and navigation assumptions, thermal and structural margins, and recovery planning, ensuring that initial launches are executed with maximum safety, predictability, and operational efficiency.
By leveraging Pulsar Space’s established launch infrastructure, proven operational processes, and experienced engineering teams, Karman Space is able to significantly reduce early-stage risk while accelerating system maturity. The partnership provides Karman engineers with hands-on exposure to real orbital missions, strengthening internal capabilities in launch operations, mission control, and post-launch analysis capabilities essential for scaling a reusable launch program.
This collaboration reflects Karman Space’s disciplined approach to vehicle development: test, validate, and iterate using real-world data. By prioritizing operational readiness over rushed deployment, Karman Space is laying the foundation for a sustainable, scalable, and globally competitive launch program, positioning RAVEN and future vehicles to reliably support commercial, scientific, and institutional missions across Droo and beyond.
