I was thinking about how to fit one of my landers into a rocket to make the flight look like Apollo 11 (also 17 or 13 too). But the fairings don't attach to the usual parts... Maybe I should first get the lander into Droo's orbit? And then dock the command module with the lander. Or maybe it’s better to struggle with the construction?
Perhaps use docking bays in construction or intersages?
