@BeaconIndustries very simplified, extremely powerful gun or such inside a ship's body, and the only way to aim it is ONLY by moving the ship :P
one of many examples in scifi for such weapons are: ✨️wave motion gun✨️

@BeaconIndustries what exactly is going wrong with your alien ships man? If you still have the designs, you could upload them as unlisted, mention me and I could just try to fix them, also do tell me what you want them to actually do, e.g, they must be atmospheric and can land on worlds
