This is the official guide on how to attach a trailer to a vehicle of mine.

The way to connect one of my trailers to one of my vehicles can be somewhat complicated if you are unaware of how to do it, so this guide exists to assist you and others in connecting a trailer.

STEP 1
You must first spawn in a trailer and vehicle that is compatible. This step is pretty obvious, so you probably would already know this. REMEMBER TO TURN ON ‘attach trailer’ ON BOTH CRAFTS

STEP 2
there is a circular part that resembles a hitch on each craft, you are going to want to drive the vehicle and line up the hitch with the trailer hitch as shown in the photo below.

STEP 3
This is the most important step and also the reason this exists. There is an invisible part above the vehicle’s hitch, you are going to have a drood come to this area and grapple the shown area on the trailer hitch and the invisible part as shown in the photos.

STEP 4
be sure that when you retract the tether you have the trailer hitch above the vehicle hitch, if you don’t do this it will not connect, I recommend swinging the hitch around the vehicle hitch to get it on top easier.

STEP 5
Let the hitch fall onto the vehicle hitch, after that you will use the tether to align the hitches, if done properly it will connect.

Congratulations, you have successfully connected the trailer!
