How would I make a mod for a reactionless rocket engine that runs on electricity?

I just read 4/5 books of a series called Bobiverse (irrelevant). In that series there is a rocket engine called the "SURGE drive" (Subspace Reactionless Geotactic Emulation), it runs on electricity from a nuclear reactor (I'll figure out the nuclear reactor part later). how would I do that . since I'm very very bad at this, so please explain it simply (I use the default mod tools with the recomended unity version)
