Aeolus NG Engine & Gimbal Testing

The Aeolus rocket engine has powered our rockets since 2024. We've produced over 300 builds and have reflown many of these engines multiple times. As we continue to expand our horizons, we're announcing the next-generation Aeolus engine, which will support the Gryphon rocket.

Aeolus NG Test Ends Spectacularly

The Aeolus NG engine is larger and more powerful than the Aeolus V1.6 engine, totaling in at 227 tons of thrust with an ISP of 320 seconds. We've already completed 100 firings totaling 15,000 seconds of test time at our facility in the Ratio Republic.

Aeolus Test Stand

With flight certification well underway for Aeolus NG, our teams are going to expand our test facility to support up to 10 static fires per day. We are also hoping to complete the first integrated testing of Aeolus 3 with a Gryphon prototype by Q4 2025.
