Fusion Space is targeting August 14th at 19:00 BST for the launch of the Serenity Mission to a Cylero Transfer Orbit from Pad 01B at the National Space Center in Euresia.
This will be the first and only flight for this first stage (B2012.0), which will be expended to get the second stage further while utilising less of its propellant.
Additionally, the second stage will feature a customised fairing at the request of the customer. This fairing will be wider than our standard 6-meter fairing at approximately 6.75 meters. We'll also be using our extendable nozzle to increase the performance of the Aeolus Vacuum engine.
The webcast will begin at T-10 minutes!

Render of Serenity on Cylero
The Serenity Rover is a state-of-the-art exploration vehicle engineered for a landmark mission to Cylero, an uncharted planet known for its rugged terrain and atmospheric challenges. The rover is designed not only to traverse the rocky landscape but also to conduct groundbreaking soil analysis, thanks to its onboard arsenal of advanced tools. At the heart of its power system are Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs), providing a reliable and long-lasting energy source that ensures the rover remains operational throughout the extended mission, even in Cylero’s extreme conditions.
Equipped with an array of drills—ranging from millimeter-scale micro-drills to larger, more robust soil excavation tools—the Serenity Rover is capable of taking precise samples from various depths. These drills are designed to handle everything from soft soil to solid rock, allowing the rover to collect data from multiple geological layers. The smaller drills will penetrate fine sediments and delicate materials, while the larger drills can bore into tougher, more resistant surfaces, ensuring a comprehensive analysis of Cylero’s subsurface composition.
The rover also boasts a suite of analytical instruments that can study the chemical and mineral makeup of the soil in real-time. This capability is crucial for identifying key elements, such as traces of water or organic compounds, that could offer clues to Cylero’s past environments and its potential to harbor life. Serenity’s mission is not just to gather samples but to bring back invaluable data that could redefine our understanding of planetary geology and resource potential on distant worlds.
