The Lane Beckons
Project: Hyperlane is a moderate fantasy Space NRP, taking place in the Vina Galaxy, millions of lightyears away from Earth. In Vina, old Empires attempt to reclaim their glory, cartels and pirates terrorize the people, and galactic natives squabble over meaningless planets.
LORE
Long ago, humanity, from Earth, would reach Vina. Humanity had already established an Empire, taking over vast parts of the Milky Way, and Andromeda. Vina, being nearby, was the next target. So, humanity would land, on Terra Nullius, and quickly began expanding across the western quadrants of the Rim. Back home, the Empire would begin to falter. Andromeda would officially seperate from the Milky Way, and xeno enemies in their own galaxy would begin a crusade against humanity. This left Vina seperated. 2 nations would form, the so called "Old Empires of Vina", Khorosan and Uran. The galactic natives wouldn't take this kindly. Eventually, a few generations later, after several civil wars, the Cataclysm would rock the galaxy, and would finally put an end to the Empires. A new era is here. An era of chaos.
Focus On Worldbuilding
Project: Hyperlane isn't just a map painting game. It's an enigmatic experience. Nations, rising and falling. Pirates taking advantage. Civil wars. And potentially out-of-Vina intruders. But to even get to a state of greatness, one must write a story. Here, the story will be written as you go, and collapsed nations won't just be a free land grab. They will be an area of anarchy. And redemption.
