Botanian Democratic Government: Fixed on discovering life outside of the strellius system and other known system, most people from here are into botany and biology. Known to be pioneering more efficient and effective terraforming technology. Ships and vehicles of this faction are focused on housing scientific instruments for finding extraterrestrial life and other interesting readings, have long fuel range and are more organic in shape, ship colour varies depending on city or shipyard it was built in, Military vessels focus more on Defencive, sports more armour and CIWS Points, as well as higher grade shields. Does trade with the commonwealth and is part of the Alliance of Humankind
Fordius Federation: focused on fixing a secure resource income to meet future ambitions in order for progression, Fordius does have good minerals, yet the government and people want to have a secure resource reserve available for the future and present. Ship design mainly focuses on having plentiful fuel and RCS thrusters for asteroid landings, as well as these ships sporting prospecting equipment (applies for most civilian and commercial vessels should the pilot find something interesting), Military vessels oddly have a frontal firing philosophy (idk I just made them do that), Does trade with the commonwealth and is apart of the Alliance of Humankind
Terran Commonwealth, Focused on exploration and further Cementing mankind's prescence and existence, ships often sport long range thrusters and plentiful space for Nonstrium, 50+ worlds is good but more is better the Commonwealth does boast better hab space efficiency as well as solar energy harvesting tech than most factions, does also boast a high number of habs, Military vessels have long range, armed to the teeth, top notch gyroscope for maximum mobility as well as RCS for evasion. Most exploration vessels are watered down Military vessels due to great range, all ships and bases recently made belong to the common wealth (Krellus cruiser and frigate, as well as the sefara outpost).
Does trade with most other factions and is the key member of the Alliance of Humankind. Recent militirazation is due to the bad relations with Inhosterrans

Cult of Skefelosomkosa: an odd bunch, attempt to settle Skefelosomkosa and they often repair abandoned or really damaged hab units from the Commonwealth, they believe that Skefelosomkosa is a sleeping deity and once woken all hell will break loose for the universe, the rituals tend to "give more dreams" to either calm this deity or to prolong its slumber. Ship design is often minimalistic yet practical. Defence vessels mostly rely on primitive proximity missiles.
Free Wanderers of Slesh: free souls who inhabit the swampy lands of Slesh, live off of slesh in small dome settlements, dont plan to move on to space, they primarily walk in order not to harm the surrounding wildlife...non dome Wanderers...wander and live a nomadic life.
Terfium sect: Called a sect, yet are scientists, they may be called crazy by the public, yet the Terfium Sect aim to further study the ruins in orbit of Terfium and on the moons of Terfium, ships are small, evasive and often host 1 pilot, and lots of scanning software
Future factions.
Etosian Republic: Proud people, their main focus is to just expand...seriously, unfortunately, their ego does blind their vision, they are proud since (remember they were founded by drunkards, read Etos lore pls lol) they tamed Etos's environment and made it a paradise to live on WITHOUT any real dependence from the commonwealth or other factions, they did buy some stuff like metal and hab dome manuals but refused common wealth aid. They do have a right to be proud..yet, they are just too proud. Their ship design is focused on being all round, their ships use more straight lines and have heavier armour and their military vessels have more guns (maybe a bit too much) than usual, in general they are lacking shield tech though.
Does not want to be aligned with the Alliance of Humankind, Doesn't trade with anyone
Eiderian Union: They focus on learning how to inhabit the more uninhabitable or distasteful worlds, the Eiderian Union boasts higher than normal tech due to the harshness of Eiderius, most of their tech is truly innovative and mostly used on desert and ice worlds. Their ships focus on being suited for all terrain and fast, they do host equipment to survey worlds fully. Their military vessels are more focused on evasion than attack. Is apart of the Alliance of Humankind and does trade with the other factions.
