Every time I try to test any of my many rocket designs on the launchpad, my first stage is always destroyed before I can start the engines. As soon as the game world loads fully, one loud sound effect is heard, it's the sound of a single rocket component/part exploding, it sounds like a rapid "phwoosh-choo" sound, it's high-pitched. Yet, the rocket does not appear visually damaged in any way whatsoever, there are no explosions (yet). So, I throttle up to 100% with the shift key, lock a 90 degree vertical heading, then click to start Stage 1, the first stage's engines do nothing, and the Stage 2 button appears, again, nothing happens, but when I click Stage 3 the engines fire up but all stages of the rocket are still attached to eachother, that's when the whole thing explodes on the launchpad. This has happened to all of my various rockets (that previously worked flawlessly) since Beta Patch version 0.7.0.2. Thanks, I hope you can solve this one, I'm pretty sure it's not due to my designs as they all used to work before patch 0.7.0.2, and the exact same bug occurs with every patch including the latest public full release (0.7.0.5) today April 18th, 2019.

Thanks Kell, I managed to attached bottom-facing side-detachers (x6) to the bottom fuel tank of my multi-stage rocket design, attached to those detachers are large vertical struts, this allowed my rocket to reach full thrust on the ground, then I detached the detachers and it successfully flew off without exploding. I guess the new 0.7.x patches added structural failure to fuel tanks if they're too heavy, is that the case? Anyhow, my rockets are large, I'm wondering there are tutorials online to build very strong launch clamps and sturdy ground structures that can more adequately carry super-heavy multi-stage rocket designs, do you know where I can find tutorials/resources that will help me build these support-structures? The only part I can find in the rocket designer is the metal strut, but these can only support so much weight before they break and the whole rocket collapses, thanks for your help! :)

Use side detaches and struts to make launch clamps or use a Soyuz interstage underneath the first stage.

I just designed an entirely new, three-stage rocket in SR2 with the latest public patch (0.7.0.5) to verify that this same bug occurs even with an entirely new rocket designed from scratch in the latest game version. Indeed, it still occurs in the same way, the first two stages do nothing (despite every part being attached properly and staged properly), then the third stage fires up while still attached to the first two stages and the later stages, since the interstages in stage 1 and 2 never activated/detached, nor did the first two stages' engines. Any help is much appreciated, thanks! :)
