Collision Space is targeting December 7, at 5:30pm GMT, for the Rideshare-1 mission of Eternity One.
After more than two months of hard work, Eternity One is ready to fly again.
This time on the most important mission our company has ever attempted.
In this flight, the booster B6 will return to the launch site by attempting a landing at landing zone 1 using one of its 7 engines.
This type of maneuver has never before been attempted by this vehicle, in previous flights, the b4 booster had successfully completed a splashdown off the coast of our launch site.
We conducted multiple tests on booster B6, that will fly in this mission.
We improved the aerodynamic guidance system and implemented a new, more powerful RCS system.
This is also our first commercial mission: there will be 6 satellites aboard the SS5 second stage:
2 Demosats from Aurore Space
2 Minic from kuiper Space
2 Minid from kuiper space
The second stage will stay in orbit for 4 days to test different systems for staying in space for future missions where it will need to be refueled in orbit, in some cases, several times.
The launch, as well as the re-entry of the second stage, will be broadcast live on our youtube channel.
The post with details for the re-entry of the second stage will be published when we have all the information seeing how the launch will go.
