Science and Drood Expansion

The way I see it, SR2 is kind of like KSP 2, with more, or less the same features as its rival. However, one thing I have always wanted, is for a science or interactive tools for the droods to interact with beside chairs and doors. Imagine going on the moon, and hitting a golf ball, watching as it goes farther and farther away. Or having an official drilling vessel besides mods that accomplish the same thing, but only for PC users. I really do hope we can get something similar in the near future.
