After the update only solid fuel engines are producing smoke. All other types of fuel emit only a little amount. Which I am not sure that is it stock or bug?

@AgniCosmos no problem. Addressing flame expansion, it probably has to do with the new maximum limit. Before, they were still fairly confined into a bell-like shape in a vacuum, but now the exhaust just flows out at an extreme angle in a vacuum.

@LeMagicBaguette Wow so they tried to make the exhaust effect realistic. Tbh I didn't really look into exhaust effects of different rocket fuels. I knew about nuclear though. Anyway thx.

@Dereric Idk what exactly expanded flames mean , is it the plumes in upper atmosphere as the air pressure is low and the flames expand , but if it is then I don't think that exhaust flames produce smoke in upper atmosphere due to low density of air. But if devs are implying that the "expanded flames" to just exhaust flames from bigger nozzle size then probably.

Hydrolox is clean, Kerolox produces a dark, somewhat wispy smoke, Methalox produces a similarly wispy, white smoke, Nuclear is also clean, and Solid produces a thick white smoke.

That's a good question, I thought it would be stock, but I found one point in the release notes that is interesting, because it says "Proper smoke size on expanded flames".
I would not agree with that, what did you think about that point?
