On mobile I am facing various issues with the new feature of ascending/descending nodes on mobile with RSS: my problem is that there’s no unique way to align my orbit with target body with normal or anti-normal burn for either ascending or descending node. In some cases for the same body (e.g. Mars) anti-normal burn works with descending node but some other times it is the opposite: is this an expected behavior? Also sometimes the feature seems not to work as inclination delat does not change at all despite ad-hoc burn to align orbits….
Am I the only with such problems?

@Pedro proposed a solution that mitigates/solves most of the issues with ascending nodes of target bodies (blue arrows along the craft orbit): pause the game and modify inclination so as to avoid issues of such node moving approprietely with the orbit moving in space (for all bodies except may be the sun). Now I will try to understand whether for each case I need to burn normal or anti-normal….

    Welcome on board :)
Selecting ascending/descending nodes is a feature of latest release on mobile. I am quite new to the game and may be wrong but issue witout tinkered rockets in RSS is lack of precision in heading, which complicates a lot interplanetary flights due to orbit lack of alignment and much longer distances than stock system….but I will try soon one of your lunar rockets :)

You still can’t select ascending or descending nodes as of now I think. Sorry! Also I was reading this entire exchange and I have some answers:

    1. Solar panels do have debuffs in RSS. This is due to the fact that all the planets are further away from the Sun than in the stock system.
    2. You don’t need tinkered rockets to go amywhere, as an example you can check out my RSS lunar rocket.

...and I cannot use mods being on mobile :(
I use the Solar System from @WiTriNo https://www.simplerockets.com/PlanetarySystems/View/8W7RiI/Solar-System-1-4

I never had problems with solar panels in RSS at least the version I use. But I also have to admit I use very powerful (and tinkered batteries) with ion engines and so the problem is not so evident to me

@RedBlueMax Do your solar panels work in RSS ? Mine don't. I am using this mod:

It is a bit too tinkered, yes, but otherwise interplanetary trips are not possible. You may reach Moon (align orbit and 100% engines without deep space drive) in 12 hours and similar times for internal Solar System with Deep Space Drive.

@RedBlueMax Thanks! Just downloaded your Grypas. Free pass to solar system :)

Many thanks as your feedback would be much appreciated. I usually fly on Solar System from @WiTriNo as long my old Ipad gets going.
If you wish, you may use my Grypas for orbit: it’s heavily tinkered (only solution for mobile users on RSS, I fear frombut you may easily achieve LEO at 600km

Just started RSS (great!) and getting my first rockets into orbit, problem was coming back down since heatshields blew up, I am still learning how to solve this. When I go to the planets I will give feedback to your problem.
