Idk how to create a suggestion, or if this is the same thing but fuel adapters or the lack of them is making backwards craft compatibility that much more challenging. A lot of my older builds rely on them and now they can't function properly. Not only happening to me but to other players as well. Might seem useless to some but they were really helpful to those who used them

You should be able to just disconnect the fuel adapter (from ALL connection points in the parts connection window) then remove them using the move tool The engines they were connected too will remain in the same spot this way. Then just simply reconnect those engines to the "surface" of the fuel tank the adapter was connected too. You should fine the engines will operate normally and that the fuel adapter was never really needed.

from the sound of it, there was a bug introduced with them. The part still exists, and should function, it's just no longer available in the designer to add onto new crafts, as it is redundant.
