How to activate using the "1-10" button: rotator, piston and so on

Look into the inputcontrollers for these parts. Some may be set to have an input of 1, and have 0 on deactivate set to true. Alternatively, they could be setting the input to that of the activation group itself. There are a lot of ways to do it.
