Sometimes when I do an eva on my astronaut in space, it keeps moving its arms around instead of staying still. I also can't maneuver around with its jetpack. How do I stop this?

go back to the command pod and pop out again, somehow
if you have more astronauts, quicksave and EVA one of them and see if it’s still dancing in space
also, make sure the craft is well beyond the atmosphere
