What I would love to see is the feature of loading your Simple Planes vehicle into Simple Rockets, and modifying it so it can function in space.
Is this already possible? Is it a planned feature? Can we use weapons?

no, theres too many different parts for this. It'd be like trying to make a ship you made in From The Depths be compatible with Scrap Mechanic

@RailfanEthan actually, it would not be too hard to create a converter script that could easily take creations from SP and subsidize missing parts using something else. At the very least, fuselages and wings should be pretty much the exactly same thing, with SR2 offering more customization.
I am pretty sure that the .xml structure will be similar enough that, idk, a rather simple python script could do it.
