Whenever the devs are about to release a new blog post, my secret hope is that it will be the early access release. Every two weeks. Every time I was wrong. But I know they have lots of features to implement that we don't even know about, and that the game will be awesome when it is released. (waiting is still hard)

I'd recommend looking at past game development cycles. Devs can add all the cool stuff, but then have to fix everything when the new stuff doesn't play nice together. I'm going to assume considering pixelpop and all, that they have all the fun stuff in for the most part, and now they gotta fix all the bugs. Which is good. Means closer to steam release.

@JoshMan that definitely sounds right. Seeing the pixelpop sneak peek and all, that would make sense. I'd rather wait for the steam release than have to wait for bug fixes after release.
