The mountain village is located on the edge of a mountain range, northwest of the desert near DSC and about east-northeast of the actual DSC. once you reach the mountain range from DSC or DDB you will need to go to the "opposite side" of the mountains, simply fly around at a relatively high altitude and you should see it.
People have probably found it before me, but didn't publish that they did (thus this post may be unnecessary), but if you want to get to it but have trouble finding it, here ya go.
Village location is latitude 25.6 and longitude -164.5
Pictures included for clearer navigation, including a picture of how to get there from DSC using the navball map only, a zoomed-in navball map picture of an approx. location at the mountain range, and a picture of the village itself.

note: the first picture is a bit misleading, the "DSC" text is meant to be around where the DSC is, while the arrow points the general direction of where to go, with the tip/end marking the approx. location of the mountain range

most certainly just a coincidence
even if this is an older version of the craft, the design style and/or paint scheme aren't something that only i use, i'm sure there's some crafts that may end up looking similar
