One hinge is 100%, the other one is 400%. Both are lifting the same mass at almost the same speed. However, the larger one is consuming 4 times the power.
Hinges of different sizes consume different amount of power even when doing the same amount of work

This actually holds water with reality, if you put a larger electric motor in a rc car it would use more power for the same speed tho it would provide the torque that isn’t required for that type of application.
