1. Make a plane, assigning specific control axes to each wing (pitch, yaw, roll all separated). Test that it flies normally by itself.
  2. Save that plane as a subobject, load that onto a rocket.
  3. Fly the rocket, detach the plane, control the plane.
  4. Attempt to use pitch controls. The pitch wings, instead of having their control surfaces tilt in the same direction, have them tilt in opposite directions, producing much roll and no pitch.

    With further testing, it seems like the issue is broader than just that. Mirrored wings don't have mirrored controls, but rather rotated controls when put on a vertical body (such as a rocket), even when that body is part of a plane.
