In simple planes there are VTOL Jets. They have nozzles, jets, and rcns seperatly. This is very nice for building VTOL aircraft. However, in Juno, there are none of these, except rcns, which run of of rocket propellant, and are not jet engine powered. It would be very nice to see some vtol engines and adjustable nozzles (for engine output) added to Juno. At this point, to make a plane vtol you have to do 1 of several things. First, use a rotater, to change the position of the jet. However, this is very difficult, and hard to do. Second, have several extra jets, which face upwards. This again, is very unrealistic. Lastly, you can use rocket nozzles on the bottom, but this leads to all sorts of problems.

I do not think that it would be that difficult to add vtol engines and nozzles to Juno, and it would definitely improve the building for vtol planes, so please tell me what you think! I know this has been stated before, but it was said in a post 4 years ago, and I think now is a good time to restate it, especially if there will never be a simple planes two. Also, this would just be a great parts to have for building planes.

Yes, I realize that. I guess what I was asking for, was more of a nozzle system for the jets, so you can use 1 jet to have multiple outputs, and have outputs further from the jet. But thanks!

The thing is, is that JNO is meant for custom-made rockets. It is not like KSP where the parts are already made. In JNO, you make the parts and adjust them to your liking. Yeah, it may be hard to learn how to make things, but I recommend reverse engineering many builds to see how it works.

Exactly. I know you can make them, but it would be much easier to have VTOL engines. They have them in simple planes, so idk why they could not have them here.

You can make your own VTOL engines but it is complicated(at least for me).
