Heat Shields should produce lift

This is already a feature in the game if you enable it in the settings

plasma is so hot that it crashes the game so they turn it off 😃

@FriendlyFin they need to be exposed for that to work, and since most people don't know how to xml edit you'll just be seeing plasma hit against an invisible object which looks very weird

maybe use a rounded nose cone and turn up the heat shield in the tinker panel
