The images mostly explain the ideas, but I will say it again incase of being mis-understood:
- In some ways, u can call it : "Resizable Cockpit", allowing to create a pressurize area inside the fuselage block (which is a soild block with out other space volume)
- Players can place Sub-Assemblings in ANY places inside the volume.
- Allow to create Resizable Doors in order to access the inside of the space. Also mention the possibility of the cockpit being de-pressurized when leaving doors unsecured! In that case... Well I'm not really sure, sitll WIP in the idea.
- Solve the "can Astronaut being implemented when every modules is made of fuselage block :)))
- Open a new branch of design in SR2: Interior design.
- ...

Ps:* I would love to see this to be implemented at somepoint, but not now. I prefer seeing the base of the game to be finish first!
* Please don't merge this idea with the "Moar Command Modules" ideas that was taged: "Planned". I also with this idea would replace the "Moar Command Modules" in the [Planned] taged.
* Sorry for my terrible English!
* Replace all letter "n" in the word "Volum[n]" into "e".

    It's a cool idea, but unfortunately, it's too complicated to implement and we have no plans to support that.

    I love the concept, but the devs have said that subtractive parts are too hard to deal with
