I'm not sure I can fix this, at least not practically anyway... The range has been changed far beyond what the designer allows, so this shouldn't really affect non-XML modded craft, at least not to the point of being this noticeable... I'm going to close this report as I suspect any possible fix would be far worse than just living with this limitation.
