I have a feeling that this could already be planned to be added (or not, we'll have to see), but yeah. Different gases could make up the atmosphere, possibly each one with variable amounts of drag, breathability, toxicity, weight, etc... Here are some examples:
- Oxygen
- Nitrogen
- Hydrogen
- Helium
- Methane
- Water vapour
- CO2
- Ammonia
- etc...
Now, let's say that this theoretically got added: what would happen to atmospheric bodies that were made before the "addition"? My idea is that there could be a bonus component called "Unidentified Substance" or something like that, and each body pre-theoretical-update would have 100% of that. This would also be addable to the normal composition values simply for when you don't know what the composition could be, or the body is still in WIP, etc.

The problem of jet engine operation would also arise. As you know, jet engines in IRL require oxygen (+fuel) to operate, meaning that jets would have to get reprogrammed too, however, i think that there should be a feature where enabling Show Hidden Properties in the tinker panel would bring up a switch called "OverrideAtmosphereComposition", or something along those lines, which will make jets operate normally in any atmosphere rather than only operate in sufficiently oxygenated ones (i.e. how they work currently)

I know that this is a pretty large suggestion and might be painful to code, but honestly it'd probably be worth it for both replica and fictional bodies alike; plus messing with sliders is fun.
