SR2 currently bases the total thrust and total delta-v based on the stages of crafts, however not every craft uses stages to activate its engines (e.g. many also use AGs), meaning that its hard/impossible to get accurate delta-v and thrust readings for those crafts assuming all functional engines are active.
Personally, i think that there should be a seperate tab in the designer that shows delta-v and total thrust based on which stage the craft is in, and which AG is enabled or disabled (regardless if the stage/AG has engines linked to it or not), while in the site this could just be shortened and simplified to the total thrust and delta-v of all engines that work (i.e. engines used as decorative pieces (unable to produce thrust due to lacking fuel) will be excluded)
